From under the craft bench in my mom’s iconic 1970’s sandal shop, I learned to appreciate the beauty of something made by hand.

More than just a few words, it’s what we live by and craft by. Forged in the hearts of nomads before us and rooted in kindness and community, it guides everything we do.
Our Name
Early American hobos followed their own path and lived by a code of kindness in pursuit of work. 30 years ago, we chose the name HOBO to honor this spirit in all of us. Today, we use our name to draw attention to the need we all share for a place to call home.
